Renovation Updates

We are knee deep into renovation projects right now.  We've started packing up the entire house and putting everything in to storage while we prepare for the flooring to be installed.  This week we will begin making the cutout for the patio door which will be installed on Monday and the existing carpet and tile is slowly being torn out room by room as we shift furniture around and make adjustments to our living situation.

The process is stressful and only made worse by the fact that being 7 months pregnant, I can't lift anything heavy, so I've been packing boxes and then kind of shuffling them across the floor with my foot after they are filled - comical for those around me I'm sure.  I also get out of breath easily and have to take frequent breaks, plus the up and down movements are killing my lower back.  On the plus side, this is fulfilling some major nesting tendencies that have occurred as of late.  Honestly though, I'm really looking forward to the whole thing being over in a few weeks so I can start preparing the nursery.  Once we return from our trip my main focus will be getting the baby's room ready.  I have a lot of ideas floating around in my head and can't wait to share them with you.

It’s good to see that there are homeowners like you that take details to heart; I have seen many a renovation project gone badly because they have thrown all caution to the win d regarding the plans on their redecoration projects.

I love visiting your blog as I get so many ideas and designs on what to do with my apartment. It inspires me try so many things I haven't thought possible, especially for small-spaced flats.

What would be the color on your nursery's wall? Do you already know the baby's gender? Yellow is always a good idea, it creates a bright and happy ambiance.

We have a baby coming too and we are on the process of converting our guest room into a nursery. We are now looking for air conditioner and heater for the room because it's almost finished.

I also love to renovate and remodel rooms! The last time we remodeled a room is our baby’s room where we included some colorful wallpapers and some wall art.

I'm very into renovations! They make my day actually. But yeah, that was hard for a preggo mommy like you to help. I saw the sneak peek of the nursery and the chair already took my breath away. Perfect furniture for a nursery!

Now that looked like a handle for you to handle. Either way, it's always fun to delve into renovations once in a while; you can get back to mixing up new looks for the flooring and walls, and add in some new furniture while you're at it.

Getting new furniture that matches your newly renovated home is probably the most stressful part of the whole renovation process. I don't know if it's just me or my tastes, but i think that whenever i do find a place that i like, i fall in love with it immediately.

Looks like a heap full of work there. It reminds me of how hard it is to decide what kind of flooring I had to use for my first house. How did yours go?

Man, that looks like a lot of stuff to work on. I guess it all worked out in the end, though; with a lot of space available, I'm sure you managed to stick in all the good flooring, a bunch of couches here and there, and maybe a nice center table to boot.

I wonder how this turned out. When I did my own house renovation, I kind of went overboard with the floor tiles. Worth it though, because it turned out nicely.

I feel for this. I've got my own renovation work to attend to right now, and I still haven't gotten the major works yet.

My mentor taught me of simple renovation on how to escape on messy interior design of your home. Which suddenly helps to build a better ambiance for my room.

This would give me a brighter idea to have a better idea on how will I design my bedroom with a new twist. More often, I used to think of different kind of styles and design to my room.
